Jajan is commonly explained as cultivating the ideal in oneself through remembrance, prayer, reflection and disciplined action. Its meaning becomes clear when a person's daily habits begin to change.

Jaajan turns outward. Through conversation, example and service, a devotee encourages others toward practices that support life and development, without coercion.

Istabhriti is a love-offering to the cherished ideal. Traditions differ in how offerings are made; sincerity and responsibility matter more than treating any contribution as a claim to material benefit.

These terms are offered here as an introductory study guide. For formal observances, consult the applicable teaching tradition and authorised guidance.
